We had a cracking game of rugby at Underhill today, with both teams putting in a great effort. Fall Bay took an early lead with a superb score in their first attack of the game, but we rallied to get two converted tries of our own and run out winners 14-7.
We dominated the first half after conceding the early score, with scrum half Jack powering his way over from short range and big Joe Phillips creating a clean break to gallop over from a full 40m,before the half time break. Both touchdowns were converted by Myles.
Fall Bay put us under relentless pressure in the second half as they went in search of an equalising score. They went close a number of times, just knocking on before crossing our line on one occasion.
Our defence held firm and with no score in the second period we held on for a narrow, hard earned win.
A great game of rugby with both sides playing their part. Well done boys!!
