This weekend we came up against a genetically modified team from Pencoed who fielded a very large pack. We were under pressure right from start and at one point the pitch resembled a battlefield with several Mumbles players having to leave the action.
Despite conceding some early tries the Stingrays tackled bravely and played some good rugby throughout the match scoring 2 tries in the second half through Connor and George.
No doubt it was a very tough morning but the coaches were heartened with the commitment shown by the boys to the very end.

some of us did not show commitment and asked to come off 1/2 time - pen coed played their best side - we should not complain - and its not their fault they r big - we got to work harder - by george (again)
